The SIOR Virginia Chapter is pleased to invite SIOR members to attend a tour of the Port of Virginia in two weeks.   

The third-largest container port on the East Coast, the Port of Virginia (“POV”) serves as one of the largest economic drivers for the Commonwealth. POV provides 10% of the gross state product, 8% of all state and local taxes, and 11% of the state’s total employment. And not to mention its impact on the commercial real estate industry!

This free tour will take place on Tuesday, September 17th at 9:30am. Space is limited – the first 22 individuals to respond will reserve a spot on the tour. Further details provided below.

  • Time: Tour begins at 9:30am sharp and will last approximately one hour.  Please arrive 15 minutes early.
  • Location:  1400 Baker Street, Norfolk, VA (registrants will receive a map with directions)
  • Required: MUST BRING a Federal or state-issued ID for access to the terminal!!
  • Free to join for SIOR Members, but space is limited so register now!
